Here at Bupa, our purpose is to help our customers live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. Part of that is recognising that health and life circumstances change and there may be times you might need a little additional help.
When you contact us, feel free to tell us if you need any additional help or support or, if there's an alternative way you like us to communicate with you. It might just be we need to be extra patient when speaking to you, or to explain things in a simpler or slower way. Our customer service teams are here to listen and support you in the best way they can.
If you do have any specific requirements, we can add a confidential note to your policy so we will know about this whenever you contact us, avoiding you having to repeat yourself each time you contact us.
Giving someone else permission to discuss your policy
Life is not always simple and there may be times when you need help managing your policy, such as if you became unwell or were unable to contact us yourself. You can appoint a trusted person to access your policy and discuss it on your behalf. If you would like to know more about this, please contact our Customer Service Team:
What to do when somebody dies
We understand the death of someone close to you can be a very challenging and difficult time, especially if you're handling their financial affairs. We want to help make things as simple & easy as we can. We will ask you for some information, as outlined here:

We understand that circumstances can change at any time, which can leave you struggling financially. Dealing with money issues can be difficult, if you are at all concerned, we are here to help and can discuss your policy needs sensitively and professionally.
Looking after your mental health
We believe that your mental health and wellbeing is just as important as your physical health. Our plans include coverage for a range of mental health conditions, from work related stress, depression and anxiety to self inflicted injury, addiction and ADHD with no waiting periods of lifetime limits, subject to the overall limit of the plan. If you have a sight or hearing impairment
